Ricardo Lee "Rick" Bolin, 66, of Rutland, OH, went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2022 surrounded by his immediate family. He was born on August 16, 1956, to Joe and Janet (Turner) Bolin of Rutland, OH.
Rick worked for several years as a paramedic for Southeast Ohio Emergency Medical Services (SEOEMS) before beginning his career at the Ohio Valley Electic Corporation, Kyger Creek plant, where he retired after 40 years. Rick was an avid bow hunter, loved the outdoors, and was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed traveling across the US and the world and shared his hunting passion with family, friends, and coworkers.
Rick was an active member of the Bradford Church of Christ for 36 years where he also served as a deacon. He loved his family and was actively involved in the lives of his kids and grandkids. Most importantly, Rick's strong faith in the Lord led to a life legacy of spiritual influence on his children and grandchildren. The family is deeply saddened by his passing but encouraged that he has received his reward in Heaven.
Rick is survived by his parents, Joe & Janet Bolin; his wife of 42 years, Brenda (Spires) Bolin; two children Derrick (Bethany) Bolin of Pomeroy, OH and Brook (Gabe) Jenkins of Lawrenceburg, KY; five grandchildren, Hope & Grady Jenkins and Turner, Blake, and Levi Bolin; mother-in-law, Elaine Quillen of Rutland; OH; brother Brent (Camille) Bolin of Rutland, OH, sister, Brenda Loper of Caledonia, OH; and many nieces and nephews. Rick is preceded in death by his brother; Craig Bolin; niece, Lindsay Bolin; father-in-law, Charles Spires; and step father-in-law Jim Quillen.
