Roger Lee Roush, 68, of Pomeroy, OH, went to be with his Lord, Monday, June 6, 2022, at Holzer Meigs Emergency, Pomeroy, OH.
Roger was born October 6, 1953, at Pomeroy, OH, to the late Charles Marvin Roush and Odessa Iola Buck Roush, He was a laborer at sawmills, and attended Rutland Free Will Baptist Church, Rutland, OH.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Kathy Ann Hysell Roush, children Rachal (James) Pliss Roger "Buddy" Roush, JR, Timothy Roush, Jessica (Aaron) Bowersock, and Kasey Roush, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Besides Roger's parents preceded by brother Leonard Roush, sister Particia Imboden, and grandson Adam Pliss.
Services are Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 1 pm, at Birchfield Funeral Home, Rutland, OH with Pastor Ed Barney officiating. Burial to follow at Bradford Cemetery, Pomeroy, OH. Visitation from Noon, Thursday till time of services. The family is being assisted by Birchfield Funeral Home, Rutdand, OH. Online condolences @birchfieldfuneralhome.com.

Dear Kathy & Family, I just found out that my GREAT FRIEND Roger has went to HEAVEN. A true friend who I enjoyed buying, selling, and trading antiques with. He is already missed by me. Roger was an expert on firearms, and I could always ask him about them. He always had a positive outlook and was a super person. Your Friend, Rick Roberts & Family

I was very sad hearing of Rogers passing. He was a great friend and we spent many days at the flea markets hanging out. Prayers to to the entire family from. I'll truly miss my buddy and great friend. I bet he's up there right now singing a song for the Angels...
